This is some additional info from yesterday’s post, airplane tips- but here are some tips while you are actually on the plane.
- Take off your shoes- your entire body swells up when you are flying and is not a good idea to keep your feet or any other part of your body constricted.
- Drink lots of water- it is well known fact is that you dehydrate more rapidly while flying.
- If you are going on a trip more than three hours long- buy a portable headrest- these are U shaped pillows that fit around your neck. They are inexpensive and can be found at most airports. There come in a few different versions- I have tried the inflatable and the beanbag versions of these- while the beanbag versions are a bit more comfortable, the additional bulkiness to carry around is not worth it for me.
